Ose Oyamendan holds an MFA degree in film production from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

Since graduation, he has won a few awards in screenwriting at film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival. He was chosen for the Fox Writers Initiative and awarded a one-hour drama pilot development deal by the Fox Broadcasting Corporation.

He also holds bachelors and masters degrees in communication. Prior to a career in film and Television, Ose was a journalist in Africa, England and America. He also worked for the Capitol Hill offices of Amnesty International USA before going to film school.

Ose has written a few other screenplays, written, produced and directed several short films, documentaries and web series.

He is a member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and a member of the Organization of Black Screen Writers. He serves on the members education committee of the WGA.
